cSPACE builds on twenty five years of art practice with communities led by Loraine Leeson in collaboration with artist Peter Dunn. Through initiatives such as The Art of Change, the Docklands Community Poster Project, and East London Health Project, a unique artistic voice was developed through partnership with communities of interest and young people, particularly those living in the multi-cultural East End of London. During this time the artists worked collaboratively to establish processes of working that allowed participants, artists and professionals to pool their expertise in the making of artworks that would support social change.
